Optura Software Reports a 51% increase in Software Revenue in Q2 2004.
Revenue growth from leading global consumer product goods and chemical companies leads the way.


Phoenix, AZ, June 30, 2004 - Optura, a wholly owned subsidiary of SBI Group, today announced its most successful quarter ever as continued momentum surrounding the xCollaboration™ product line increased year over year. Q2 revenue was up 51% over Q2 2003 results reflecting strong acceptance for Optura's business process improvement software. Customers have engaged Optura to help them address process optimization issues in areas such as accounts payable and material and item master management; thereby placing Optura on track to exceed its aggressive yearly plan in both revenue and profitability.

Optura's 2004 first half success demonstrates continued momentum at a time when customers are looking to improve their business process collaboration and workflow. "Our history of providing process optimization solutions with rapid and significant ROI has positioned us to take advantage of the high level of interest that is occurring in the business process improvement marketplace," said Coleman Barney, CEO of Optura. Key achievements for the first half of 2004 include:
  • New client wins in the Retail and Consumer Products Goods vertical sectors including the leading manufacturer and marketer of chewing gum and bubble gum and a leading manufacturer and marketer of consumer foods products, bakeries and foodservices
  • New client wins in the Chemical vertical sector include one of the world's largest producers of proprietary plastics and specialty chemicals, and a worldwide producer of specialty materials for paints, coatings, adhesives and sealants.
  • Successful delivery of a new version of Vendor Invoice Management™ (VIM) - the first of several key xCollaboration upgrades to be delivered during 2004.
